visits MNCH Program
On 24th January, 2010, Special Advisor to Norwegian Prime Minister visited the
National MNCH Program.
Dr Farooq Akhter (National program
Manager) MNCHP gave a presentation to the delegation about the National
MNCH Program.
In his presentation Dr.
Farooq Akhtar informed the visitors about the
goal and strategies of the Program. The
issues and challenges in the
implementation were also discussed in detail.
Dr Salim Wali (Technical Advisor - MNCH Program) shared the budget
flow mechanisms of the program and
presented a comparison of LHW and
MNCH program in this regard. The
delegation assured all kind of support to
program for meeting the challenges in
the implementation.
